"Magnolia" is a beautiful song by the underrated songwriter, JJ Cale.
He is mostly famous for having written a couple of Eric Clapton's
biggest hits in the 70s ("After Midnight" and "Cocaine"),
but he also had a pretty decent career as an artist himself.
His first solo album, Naturally, came out in 1971,
and on it is the gorgeous, laidback "Magnolia."

Whipporwill singing
Soft summer breeze
Makes me think of my babe
I left down in New Orleans
I left down in New Orleans
Magnolia, you're a sweet thing
You're driving me mad
Got to get back to you, babe
You're the best I ever had
You're the best I ever had
You're whisperin' good morning
So gently in my ear
I'm comin' home to you, babe
I'll soon be there
I'll soon be there
Magnolia, you're a sweet thing
You're driving me mad
I got to back to you, babe
You're the best I ever had
You're the best I ever had
You're the best I ever had
You're the best I ever had
Beck Version - Magnolia
